Fender is a name synonymous with the electric guitar. They have been the leading manufacturer of electric guitars since the 1950's and have created many of the legendary guitar models. At the Guitar Works, we stock many of these classic US models, as well as the more affordable Mexican-made models. We are Reading's only full American dealer.

PRS guitars represent the ultimate in quality. Formed in 1985 by Paul Reed Smith in Maryland, PRS guitars offer a great playing experience combined with superb build quality. We have a huge stock of US PRS models and we can also obtain special order models if you have specific requirements - just contact us for price and availability. We also offer the affordable SE guitars. Built in Korea to Paul Reed Smith's exacting standards, these guitars offer the same fluid playability and superb value-for-money.

Godin guitars are actually the largest builder of guitars in North America. Founder Robert Godin owns 6 different brands and 2 lumber yards! These guitars represent tremendous value for money, and come with many special features. The Synth Access guitars offer the best way of using MIDI with your guitar - highly recommended.

Dean guitars have become synonomous with many great players including Dimebag Darrell. Today Dean offers a range of guitars in outrageous shapes and designs but also has a range of classic electric guitars in the Vendetta and Hardtail series. Great value for money too.

Ibanez offer a superb range of high quality guitars covering a range of styles from shred to jazz, with an equally impressive list of endorsees, from Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, to George Benson. We carry an extensive selection from all the major ranges including the RG, S, SA, Artist series and Prestige models.

We're currently not a dealer for Gibson guitars, but try to keep as many of their second hand guitars in as possible.

Jackson is now owned by Fender and over recent years the quality of the guitars has risen to the very top. The company offers signature models such as the Randy Rhodes and classics such as the Dinky series. Supply of Jackson guitars is always an issue but we do carry as many as we can get our hands on!
