We are proud of our extensive range of Warwick basses. We stock basses from the Korean built excellent value Rockbass series to the neck-through German built masterpieces. Our stock holding is always around 12-15 basses across a wide range of price points. We also have extensive knowledge of the various custom shop options which can be included with any order. Yamaha elctric bass guitars represent a vast range of price and style, and there is something for all standards and styles amongst the Yamaha bass range. At the Guitar Works we stock the entry level RBX Series models due to their variation and playability, and also the more classic BB series, but all other Yamaha bass guitars are available to order through contacting us.

Fender created the first electric bass in 1951, and are still building them using the methods honed over 50 years ago. Today they use not only some of the same machinery and tooling to create the bass guitars, but also some of the same people are at work handcrafting components and instruments. Modern technology has streamlined many of the operations and made the instruments precise and consistent, but every Fender guitar, whether bass or six string is still started and completed by hand.

Ibanez offer a superb range of basses that also offer great value-for-money. Modern classics such as the SR and SRX series are mixed with really interesting instruments such as the AGB. Squier is Fender's brand for producing high value, low cost basses. AS well as copies of classic guitars such as the P and Jazz bass, Squier increasingly produce versions of classic vintage basses, often faithfully reproduced at tremendous value for money.
