From orchestra pits to mosh pits; small clubs to stadiums and garages to recording studios, its signature sound is everywhere.The new American Standard Telecaster still has the hand-rolled fingerboard edges, alnico V pickups and staggered tuning machines for playability, tone and stability, and now includes great new features including: * A new bridge with improved bent-steel saddles mounted to a stamped-brass bridge plate for increased resonance and sustain. * A new neck treatmenttinted for a richer presentation, with the maple or rosewood fingerboard buffed to a high gloss. The back of the neck still has that silky, comfortable satin finish. * A thinner finish undercoat that lets the body breathe and improves resonance. * A new Fender-exclusive SKB molded case.

Plenty of modern features for big sounds! The Jim Root Telecaster (designed for the Slipknot/Stone Sour guitarist) will go to 11! Special features include a mahogany body, 12"-radius fingerboard, EMG® pickups, 22 Dunlop 6100 jumbo frets, black locking tuners and hardware, and a single volume knob. Available in a flat black finish with a maple neck and fingerboard with a white pickguard or in flat white with a maple neck, ebony fingerboard and a black pickgaurd. 1972 was a magical year for the Telecaster® guitar, which was then available in several new designs and with more options than ever before.The '72 Telecaster Deluxe features many of those options, including an alder or ash body (depending on finish), a C-shaped maple neck, bullet truss rod, '70s vintage hardtail strings-through Strat® bridge, three-bolt neckplate, '70s Strat headstock, two Wide Range humbucking pickups, traditional three-way switching and four skirted amp knobs.
